Ryan Justice to Compete in St. Johns Grand Prix
Ryan Justice / ASA Speed Truck Challenge
September 1, 2005. From Los Angeles California to Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada,
to St. Johns Arizona, Ryan Justice is a young aggressive
driver on the move. Competing in his first ASA Speed Truck
Challenge race, Ryan will enter this event just hours after
competing in the STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP Series at Mosport
Raceway Park just outside Toronto Canada.
After a 2 day test in California last week, the Rich’s
Motorsport’s ASA Speed Truck Challenge Team was excited and
very pleased with their test of the young aggressive
Justice”, said Ronnie Swyers, representative and team
manager for Ryan Justice. “After talking to the management
of Rich’s Motorsport’s Team and knowing how quick Ryan
adapts to various racing equipment, I am very optimistic
about the results we will have at the St. Johns Grand Prix.”
Ryan is not looking forward to the 6 hours by air and 3
hours by car in the middle of the night travel to get to the
event, but he is looking forward to his first ASA Speed
Truck Challenge race. “I have seen it done by various other
drivers in the Nextel Cup Series and never really thought
I’d have to do it, but the opportunity presented itself so
I’ll do what it takes to get there. I’m really excited to be
racing such drastically different cars in less than 16
hours.” stated Justice.
Ryan Justice, lead driver for the Canby Oregon based
Northwest Autosport Inc., campaigns in the extremely
competitive STAR MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP Series that races at all
the major motorsport’s circuits throughout the United States
and lower Canada. The series has an average starting field
of 37 cars and is packed with most of North America’s top
young drivers. With the season ending in October, Ryan is
actively looking and testing various cars for the 2006
season. “I’m obviously looking to further my career as a
race driver whether it be in a single seat open-wheeled car
on road courses or an oval track based series, exploring my
options is what I have to do right now”, explained Ryan. The
young racer is currently ranked 11th in the STAR
MAZDA CHAMPIONSHIP Series
Based in Milwaukie, Oregon, Northwest Autosport is one of the top teams participating in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear, which will feature twelve races across the United States and Canada supporting the American Le Mans Series, ChampCar and the GrandAm series.
