Northwest Autosport was founded in 2005 by Oregon businessman Jim Justice to create a team that was committed to providing excellent preparation, training and race support to its drivers, one of them being his son Ryan Justice.

From the begining the team has been consistently fast and in 2006 the team became a championship contender in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear with Justice capturing two victories, three pole positions and the fast lap bonus at the Formula One Grand Prix of Canada round of the championship.

Ryan has graduated to the Indy Pro Series but the team remains dedicated to the goals of providing the best cars in the paddock.
